mcoc.app is a free, independent fan utility that aggregates Marvel Contest of Champions champion rankings published by YouTube creators. This page explains what happens to visitor data when you use the site.
There are no accounts, no logins, no forms and no newsletter. The site never asks you for your name, your email address or any other personal detail, and there is nothing to sign up for. It sets no cookies. If you use the roster tracker, your roster is saved in your own browser and is never sent to us — we cannot see it. The only data collected is anonymous, aggregated traffic measurement, described below.
The roster tracker saves which champions you own, their ranks, and the rank targets you set. This is written to your browser's local storage on your own device. It is never transmitted to us, and we have no way to read it. There is no account behind it and no copy on any server.
Two consequences worth understanding. First, clearing your browser data for this site deletes your roster permanently and we cannot restore it — use the backup code on the roster page to keep a copy. Second, because the roster never reaches us, it is not covered by the data requests described under "Your rights" below; it is yours alone, and you can erase it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure page performance. Both are privacy-focused and run without cookies. Visitors are identified by a hash derived from the incoming request, which is discarded automatically after 24 hours, so browsing cannot be reconstructed into a session that follows you across visits, devices or other websites.

This data is aggregated and is not tied to an identifier that could single you out. We do not collect your IP address in a stored, readable form, and we hold no information capable of identifying you personally.
mcoc.app intends to fund its hosting costs through advertising served by NitroPay. Advertising works differently from the analytics above: ad partners and their downstream demand partners may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser, and may process data about your device and browsing in order to select, measure and report on the ads you are shown, including personalised ads.
Where the law requires it — including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — you will be shown a consent prompt before any such processing begins, and you can grant, refuse or later change your choices through that prompt. NitroPay handles this consent mechanism. Their own privacy policy, which governs the data their partners collect, is available at nitropay.com/privacy.
Status as of 20 September 2026: no advertising is currently being served on this site, and no advertising cookies are being set. This section describes how advertising will operate once it is enabled, and will be updated when that happens.
Nothing is sold. No data is shared with anyone else, and there is no other third-party tracking on the site. Champion portraits and images are served from mcoc.app itself rather than hotlinked, so simply viewing the site does not expose your visit to any other party. The ranking data is fetched from its sources by a scheduled server-side job, never by your browser.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export the personal data an organisation holds about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. In practice, the analytics described above hold no data that identifies you, so there is typically no record to retrieve or delete. Advertising data, once advertising is enabled, is controlled through the consent prompt and through NitroPay.
